Hey I'm Taylor 🤙🏻

In October 2024 I went on my first international trip to Thailand. While there I visited a buddhist temple. I had been dreaming about that day since I was 19 years old when I learned about Buddhism. When my fingers touched the buddha statue I immediately felt a pulse move through my body leaving me a beautiful crying mess. It was an incredible movement of energy I did not expect. After this experience I purchased a basic wooden mala made by local people for 100 Thai Baht. Of which I still have and cherish to this day.

When I went back home I nearly immediately started crafting my very own mala. I had to make it three times over before it even held together right. I didn't want to stop making it though. I found a sense of peace in solitude when it was just me, the string, and stone beads.

I want to share what my mala's have done for me and my meditation practices. I used to get frustrated feeling like I couldn't meditate, like it was impossible. My mind would race, my body would itch and squirm, I couldn't stop thinking about how long I've been sitting here doing nothing. So. I would set a timer for 20 minutes (bold move starting with a whole 20 minutes). With the timer going I knew I wasn't meditating "too long" so I was able to relax about time and just let the thoughts flow. Then... ABRUPTLY pulled out of it with that beeping, beeping, beeping! I gave up for a long time. "Meditating just isn't for me" I told myself.

Now I have the proper tool to guide me through meditation. My mala. The 108 beads leading to my guru and tassel IS my timer, my much friendlier timer. We share energy and focus on each other. One bead at a time, as slow or as fast as I desire. One bead at a time reciting whatever mantra I need to hear. Or maybe my minds silent while I focus on each deep breath for each bead. Or maybe I need to hear each of the four agreements one hundred and eight times to start my day in the right mindset. Every time I meditate is a different experience, taylored to what I need in that moment.

My hope is that you are able to elevate your meditation experience too. I would be honored to have any part in your journey navigating that. Thank you for considering my handcrafted mala's!

Intentionally crafted

I personally pick out which 8mm stones I feel  pulled to choose and put together.

Handpicked
Stones

I believe each stone holds their own energy. I try my best to match stones that would be beneficial for you. I conduct a careful quality check with each stone to ensure the mala will last as long as your energy allows.

I use a durable and strong twisted nylon cord. Which ensures the knots are secure and is resistant to fraying. My color collection is growing. Currently offering  12 different options for the main cord with knots and more than 400 variations for the tassel.
